We are locally owned by approximately 1060 member farmers. This membership elects a 7 member Board of Directors who govern Greene Farmers CO-OP. Besides our members, we also serve thousands of non-member patrons. Remember, Greene Farmers CO-OP is “Owned by the Farmers but Open to Everyone.” You do not have to be a member to do business with us.

No supplemental growth hormones (EVER!)
Born and Raised all their lives on 140 acres of open pastures.
Hay fed in winter is stored in a dry barn and fed in covered hay rings for the highest quality winter feed
Beef is fed "chop" when weaned and when need to supplement the mother's milk.
Natural Shelter is provided for our calves under trees or run-in sheds for extreme weather conditions.
The mental and physical well-being of our beef has always been the PRIMARY driver in our care, not the cost to keep them comfortable.
We keep written records on each calf, documenting IF or when medical treatment is used.
